Monkey #953 was a circus performer who had starred in the main attraction for years. One day, Monkey #953 was on the way to start the show. Someone else was also rushing to the show, when their heavy cart rattled hard. They shrugged it off as a pothole and rushed on. After 20 minutes of waiting and searching for Monkey #953, he was found with a broken leg. Monkey #953 was actually what the cart ran over, but he wasn’t worried. Monkey #953 knew he wouldn’t die from his injury and that the circus master would figure what comes next. The Circus Master did know what came next. For a monkey that couldn’t work was a burden. So like a lame horse, the master took out his pistol. Pointed at Monkey #953 trusting eyes. And shot Monkey #953.
