I was in Lviv at 1am, walking with a group of friends. We walked past an old lady that sold roses. Me and a friend bought some and carried them with us for the next day, while doing a city tour. On a tower i thought it might look pretty so i took the picture. ^.^

I was down in Dallas for work a few years ago.  Mrs. Lurker joined me for part of the trip and we spent some time wandering around Dallas and Fort Worth.  (Fort Worth was way better than Dallas fwiw.)  As we got to the evening, I wanted to find a place to take a sunset photo.  So I scoured the interwebs (Google Maps) for a place that would have a nice west facing view and landed on White Rock Lake on the North East side of Dallas.  This ended up being the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen.  The main sunset photo I shared earlier here.  But you'll note I referenced the afterglow as well.  I had packed up my camera and we were headed out when the clouds began to light up again.  I set my gear back up and captured this panoramic image.

A number of years ago, my sister and her family lived in the suburbs of Chicago.  We decided to take a trip into the city and visited Millennium Park.  Lots of cool stuff to see and do around that area.  Not sure what this was, but it was really green and wide open so I decided to take a picture.  :)   I think it's a concert hall thing at the far end and just a big grassy area for people to sit.

@Menhera, get in here and bring this thread back to life with me.  :)

During my winter adventures, we usually make a point to catch sunrise out in some frozen place.  We had nice cool weather and clear skies.  The clouds you can see over Lake Superior is "sea smoke".  Basically it's fog that forms overnight as the air temps drop below the water temps. The building on the left is a small fish cleaning shack.

When I first moved to my little town in Mexico two and a half years ago, one of the first things that happened was getting to help my host mom with the birth of all these little piglets. Most stayed up near the mom but around twice a day, she'd pass in front of the house and a little crew of piglets would trail behind her, not wanting to be left alone. I thought they were the cutest things and we cared for one of the runts in the house.

"Superior Beach" is a pebble beach on the north shore of Lake Superior in Tettegouche State Park.  It's a fun spot to check out in all seasons because it's usually pretty protected, with calm clear water, the beach, and a rocky point you can play around on to see the lake.  It is also really well known for a particular stack of stones that overlook the little bay.  Prior to 2010, it actually formed an arch with the cliff next two it but during a storm in 2010, the arch broke off and fell into the lake leaving the stack by itself.

This was a really tough photo to take and honestly feel I went too far in processing it.  But with the harsh sun combined with the really shadowed rocks made it tough to capture in one image.  It's an HDR which I manually blended and then did some dodging and burning.  Again, I think it went too far and isn't exactly what we saw that morning any more, but it is a cool photo regardless.

Bonus story in #photocorner!

So I went to Brussels last year for one day with my girlfriend during the summer, just for the day and surprisingly I liked it a lot. So we decided to come back in Easter for a longer trip for a week, rented a cheap Airbnb in town in this really old building which looked super dodgy from the outside and rundown, but then we entered and it was really nicely done up and really cosey (4 meter high ceilings, welcome to Belgium buildings 😆)  and so it was really nice and we went everywhere we could, honestly we didn't have enough time. Brussels is one of my favourite cities and the picture is my favourite street there actually. It shows such a contrast in architecture, from a building built in 1890 (finished in the turn of the century, the one on the right, bit brownish can only see the side of it) which is now a music museum which a really nice cafe up top with a view.

If you turn around you can see this is on a hill with a view of a large part of town (but creepy has a one pic rule 😒, blaim him) but this is one of my best memories without posting a picture of my girlfriend grinning her face off of Brussels and I just find this street the epitome of its beauty, even though there are nicer parts due to the collision of styles from a more traditional Dutch/Belgium on the left to step by step to the right old and in the corner part of the justice palace.

I love it.

Sorry I'm a bit tipsy if something isn't legible.

Also thanks to our great queen for solving my picture insertion problems ❤️❤️❤️
