The fourth installment in this series. This time, it is a war between India and China, the two heavy weights of Asia. Both countries have a large population and thus have a lot of people in their reserves to muster in a large army. But like always, here are the rules.

1. No nukes (as always)

2. War is ONLY between India and China

I feel like this would honestly be a draw/Indian Victory. It would be a draw probably since these two nations are so closely matched. You might say "Peng, China has the higher GFP ranking!" Yea, that's true but one of these 2 countries has a giant fucking mountain range in between. "Oceans!" yea well fuck you (jk ily). I think it might be an Indian victory because Indians have a history of militarizing themselves in the face of danger (in the Indo-Pakistani wars for example). However, many members of the Chinese population do not want to be there (just from personal experience and media snippets) and most just are ambivalent.

idk a lot of this is my opinion but i feel like this makes sense.

Himilayas will be a major factor limiting the Indians form attacking China, and China from attacking India so I would say whoever has a defensive war wins. However based on China's advanced aresenal compared to Indias, I would say China would have a advantage even with the himilayas in place.

Should have been a draw option for this poll.

China is absolutely ahead of India military tech-wise, but India has support of other nations (that won't take part in the war but will provide needed equipment - I'm assuming that falls within the criteria of this poll). India's military has much more experience due to its unstable neighbor to the North-West and the numerous wars that they have fought (and won). India also have probably the largest chunk of UN mandated forces world-wide (currently mainly serving in peace-keeping missions in Africa) which further increases their experience in a wide range of environments.

Mobilization-wise this war would be a pain in the ass for both sides. The Himalayan mountain range means land + air movement from the North/North-East is pretty much a no-go. China could come in through Tibet, but doubtful considering how severely lacking the infrastructure is on border areas on both both sides. China barely has any presence in the Indian Ocean, so that rules out the seas.

I'll be honest with you, this is a war neither side can actually take part in properly. But for the sake of this poll I went ahead and chose India.
