What have you done today

Listening to updates on the "war" between my kids and Resplendent 1291477944920.gif

I want to go back in the low range, was so much fun.

Less than 8 minutes is pretty good! I believe I was told when I was a high school freshman 8 minutes was the average speed we needed to run with about half doing slightly better, most were around the 9-10 minute mark at the beginning. At my peak my fastest mile was 6 minutes 30 seconds all out without additional miles while the best runners in the Cross Country/Track team could run a 4 and a half minute mile going all out. Keep it up!

Today I slept in(had sleeping issues as of late), missed a class, re-stocked on groceries, and voted in the US Presidential election via early voting. Did some planning on a Public Opinion Polling course for a survey regarding Gun Rights/Gun Control geared towards interviewing conservative or Republican voting age persons.

I registered a company today. Maybe I'll do something useful tomorrow too.

Ran 3.5 miles in 20 minutes and 33 seconds this morning, then went to school. Came home, played games for an hour, started doing homework.

That's just one more minute than me and I am 16.
At my peak (before all the wrestling injuries put my out of sports) I was running about a 6:40-50 mile and about an 19:45-20 minute 5k (around 3.1-3.2 miles or something close to that)

Good luck with that, I was a runner in high school but I wasn't close to running collegiate especially at a D-1 school, those guys are crazy fast.
Reason why I chose D-III, If I can get my mile under 5:00, and my 2-mile under 11:00, I have a reasonable chance.

You were a wrestler?
Three year varsity wrestler in my high school. I qualified for regional competition twice.

Right before my last year of high school wrestling, I dislocated my kneecap and compacted my right wrist. The head coach brought me on as an assistant coach for the new guys (and girls). So, effectively four years of wrestling but only 3 competitive years.

I'm on youtube somewhere wrestling someone my first year on the mats
