I think the smaller game worked better. That one huge game you had was filled with inactives so it took forever to start/had a bunch of AIs. Why not 6-10 for the larger games?

I wish i could but warlight crashes my browsers. Its a small laptop, not enough ram for it, barely enough for http://majorcommand.com

I got from that that you have 2 GB of RAM, that should be more than enough to run Warlight(I do it on a chromebook with multiple warlight games at the same time), you should check for viruses, or background programs that are eating away at your RAM, and probably delete them.
