Soccer

I started a business dealing with soccer so kinda my obsession lol

I don't really like a lot of clubs, because no emotional attachment, and the club with the most money usually wins. Manchester United and Arsenal are fun to watch, but most clubs are too focused on winning, at the cost of a good game.

I do support Germany, because of their organized, counterattack style. Happy to see them finally win the World Cup.

It reallly fun to watch them lose. I love how we beat them for the first time ever right after the WC and Ireland just beating them. Was a fun qualifier. Whats your business?

I did a soccer blog. Which became a really big soccer media site. Now we do something like PR consulting for soccer clubs, help them get more money out of sponsors. Not gonna get into more detail than that xD

My go to for the MLS is Houston Dynamo. Here I am at their home game against the Chicago Fire back in July:

My EPL team is Crystal Palace

I really started to follow the premier league about two and a half years ago when they were struggling to stay up. They have an interesting name to say the least, and it felt good to root for an underdog for a change. On top of this they have a certain charm to Americans I think because of their bald eagle and cheerleaders. Once I got them on my radar I couldn't let them go.

We aren't much of an underdog this season. I'm expecting for the club to finish towards to upper half of the middle of the table just like last season. We have such excellent chemistry between our players and Pardew seems to be just the persona that we need to propel the team towards becoming a real premier league team. And I doubt we could have gotten Cabaye if it weren't for the time he spent in Newcastle with Pardew.

Haha, yeah, all the EPL ones are pretty much world class. I mean underdog as in not Arsenal, Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool.

I've liked Everton back when it had Tim Cahill or Newcastle at one point, but it was more support for individual players than the club.

I watched two great games in Arsenal/Tottenham and Palace/Liverpool this morning. It is an interesting feeling to watch as Palace becomes LFC's bogey team

I'm going to take this chance to strut about a bit with Palace's massacre of Newcastle United yesterday. If things were terrible under Pardew and are still terrible after Pardew then it's pretty apparent that there is something seriously wrong in Newcastle.

But on to my beloved Palace. After correcting for our mistakes against Sunderland we are back in the business or kicking ass and taking names. My favorite, Zaha, and a terrific goal to deal Palace's lead in the first half, but really the whole team was at the top of their game yesterday.

Hey look it's a bagel! (Hello to everyone else as well!)

Just thought I'd stop by with this:

As an MLS follower, and a Timbers fan, I am happy!

Also I like Napoli in Serie A.

I enjoy watching Barcelona but I wouldn't call myself a fan, more like a distant supporter haha

Internationally I'm a Mexico fan. Grew up watching Liga Mx because of my family and I'll still catch a game or two when possible. Probably try and catch a few more now that the Timbers sent Villafana to Santos.

Dynamo have been off to a good start to the season. I'm a bit disappointed in the way our defense has been playing, but our offense is arguably the best in the league right now. 11 goals in 3 games is a pretty awesome achievement for a team that has missed the playoffs for the past two seasons. Wenger and Bruin are in top form right now and Maidana has been racking up points for my fantasy team up until his concussion. If we can figure out what is wrong with our defense then I think that the Dynamo can make it back to the playoffs this year.

I don't want to talk about how Palace is playing right now
