I'm a bit apprehensive about the Wax And Wayne Trilogy - the Mistborn series is probably my favourite of all time so there's a lot for the new Trilogy to live up to in my mind. I'm gonna enjoy it regardless though, since the first trilogy set such a high bar.

Fair enough, I try to view them as an entirely different series rather than a continuation of Mistborn (because you're right, they don't currently compare)

If Sanderson manages more amazing plot twists then I'll be more than satisfied
