Post what song you're listening to (or just good music in general)

Still can't believe this song wasn't a bigger hit considering how universally agreed upon it is that it's one of the best pop songs of the decade.

It's still her most popular song on last.fm, even now, four years after Run Away With Me was released.

Call Me Maybe was released in 2011, which was four years before Run Away With Me so maybe it was just a case of what music was popular at the time? 2010-2012 had a lot of fun upbeat songs, that's when Katy Perry was at the peak of her career. In 2015-2016 when Run Away With Me was released, music was more serious and political imo.

She's not much of a celebrity either (and I'm not sure she wants to be) which makes it harder to score a huge hit. I think she should have released Run Away With Me as the lead single of her 2015 album EMOTION instead of I Really Like You too, people were probably still burnt out from Call Me Maybe's overplay and I Really Like You wasn't any different and arguably not even as good, so it flopped and probably killed a lot of momentum the album could've had going for it. 

Still, it's not often radio gets an opportunity to play such a good song so you'd think they'd still give it a chance.
