I don't use a razor to trim my beard, I typically use a knife or scissors the "rough" look is in

Mine is work in progress, hopefully it will be half as good as yours in a few years time, but probably not due to genetics.

When I shave I use a straight razor, right now I'm growing my beard out for winter though

I shave my neck with a disposable razor, and trim the rest with an electric razor/trimmer

Lets not go into bodyhair removal. I don't think this alliance is ready to discuss how someone trim their pubic hair.
