other: martian empire
I also said we can argue in circles over what "would be" but simply enough if you look at what did happen and simply look at how different things would be without the British Empire and maybe there is a USA equivalent maybe not but looking at how with the US nazi Germany ended up failing but also without Britain then there's no nation to launch D-day from. But you could still argue that may E another country filled Britain's shoes but honestly no one will ever know. And that's WW2. Take it further back maybe Germany wins wwi. Take it further back to the 7 years war does France lose ground to get to a point of revolution? Do they simply take north America? crush a rebellion there? does a rebellion even start? Britain undoubtedly changed much of the world. I agree so did France and yes France came in at the last minute of the revolutionary war on boats and blockaded the British. America might not have gained independenceAgain like Rickky you're making an assumption that if America lost their war of independence, US would be replaced by a big black hole and every other detail in history would play out exactly the same for 200 years until the point in history you chose to view.
And still the fact remains we have our modern day superpower - the U.S. - because of the French and their support.
We're speaking of no British Empire in the first place.......How on earth does British Empire suddenly become another black hole on world map if US loses the revolution?
So if " Well say America did not get independence " (quoting you) the British Empire would not exist? We're speaking of no British Empire in the first place.......
Actually that wasn't the assumption, what I was telling you is that with the growing power of the British Empire they would have stayed an Empire longer and then there wouldn't be the technological achievements today, because all the inventors were against the British, if the revolution had lost they would have been put to death. Seeing as how they were traitors. So yes, a lot of the technology that was started back then would have definitely been put back. So alyster with all of your assumptions, you can just sit the fuck down for five minutes.Again like Rickky you're making an assumption that if America lost their war of independence, US would be replaced by a big black hole and every other detail in history would play out exactly the same for 200 years until the point in history you chose to view.

Is there a link inbetween Star Wars Empire and British empire for you or what? Evil British are coming with their hate against progress. Next episode is Return of Trump and New Hope.Actually that wasn't the assumption, what I was telling you is that with the growing power of the British Empire they would have stayed an Empire longer and then there wouldn't be the technological achievements today, because all the inventors were against the British, if the revolution had lost they would have been put to death. No what I'm trying to say(may have been worded wrongly) was that had Britain not colonized America. And the only real way to compare what could have been to what has been. Is that you look through the major wars that were fought. For obvious reasons we can't say that a random Empire doesn't fill that void but if you simply cut the 2 out of history then you have major issues to begin with as much of the world is changed for ever. An example. Compare the British Empire never expanding never colonizing the world then look at how much is different. Same with France, say the French and Indian war is not fought as there is no France then maybe Spain fills that void maybe not. The only true way of knowing who influenced more Is by looking at the facts. Whats the number 1 language English or French? What language covers the majority of the world? What language is being tossed around as the global standard language? English. Who spread English throughout the world? The British Empire. Yes France definitely influenced the world but imo the British Empire did so to a greater extentSo if " Well say America did not get independence " (quoting you) the British Empire would not exist?
See this is why I don't like but can not refuse alternative history topics.
So, in a treasonous act of rebellion, you would not execute the traitors. SUUUUUUUUUUUUUREIs there a link inbetween Star Wars Empire and British empire for you or what? Evil British are coming with their hate against progress. Next episode is Return of Trump and New Hope.
I know I said something unpatriotic for the yanks, but geez you don't need to get your panties twisted now. Stretching 1 event from 1770s to influence just 1 event in 1940s is over extending yourself a bit isn't it. In meanwhile you ignore 170 years of history that all would have been totally different in a way no one knows. You're saying British would have killed all the inventors, I say aliens would have landed. Neither can be proven and both are stupid.
So if all of your colony is in open rebellion and you put it down, then you commit genocide? We can go rounds and rounds. So, in a treasonous act of rebellion, you would not execute the traitors. SUUUUUUUUUUUUURE
Rounds and rounds of your ignorance. So if all of your colony is in open rebellion you commit genocide? We can go rounds and rounds.
I'm ignorant because I don't agree with your sci-fi?Rounds and rounds of your ignorance.
So, who were the leaders of the American Revolution? Alexander Hamilton, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew "Old Hickory" Jackson, John Stevens, Aaron Burr, Benjamin Rush.I'm ignorant because I don't agree with your sci-fi?
If American revolution would have been a failure
- British Empire would turn on everyone with a diploma in colonies
- Hitler would have ruled the world
- UPN would have rolled us in the last war
And you call me ignorant for saying lets not make up fairytales with out no realistic historical support.

You accused me of saying if I didn't like the outcome American revolution I suppoter the German victory in WW2. See page 1. Then we got to the alternative history mastering. If US revolution would have failed then Britons would have retaliated then world would remain stupid then comes Germany and wins the WW2. Or however you planned out the timey-wimey stuff how two events are tied together across 170 years.
I noticed that's not a retort to the actual argument. You accused me of saying if I didn't like the outcome American revolution I suppoter the German victory in WW2. See page 1.
