This is just a quick overview of the war but I could only do 20 pick wisely (and no leaving the alliance because you get butthurt over someone else's opinion)

Rome cos other wars were just plain not as interesting/less blood and Gore (on the battlefield)

I picked Korean War, but didn't realize it referred to something other than what I had in mind, I picked it thinking of the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592–98) because that was a far more interesting war than 'the Korean War' which hardly seemed worth being a choice.

While less gore since ships sinking and people drowning isn't as bloody, the Japanese invasions of Korea is probably the most interesting war ever for Naval Combat, which is why I favor it.

Naval battles never really interested me Tbh, neither did air. Good old fashioned ground battles :3

I suppose best means worst because war is bad? Or wars that brought a lot of technological progress?

WW2.

Nukes, air vs navy, Einstein, Indiana Jones, genocide, religious Indian symbols for indoctrination, organized rape and torture, huge ditches for burying rape victims, firebombing cities into dust, eugenics, testing deadly diseases on live humans.

My grandfather was not simply waterboarded... he was hooked up to a water cannon and flooded to near death. Also they would throw around babies, slice them with katanas, then eat them. Even Donald Trump and NPO can't bring back that level of torture.

The alpine war between Italy and Austro-Hungarian empire during the WWI is underrated, they used so many original ways to kill each others, climate and rough terrain made fighting difficult, positioning in strategic places with a machine gun almost made impossible for the enemy advance, so they began to use explosives to cause avalanches and bury the enemy, individual soldiers walking and climbing for days risking frostbite to reach the right point to cause the avalanche, in a week in December 1916 about 10,000 soldiers died under avalanches, many of their bodies are still under the snow.

Another interesting episode is "La mina del Castelletto delle Tofane", the Austrians were perched on a mountain and could block the Italian army advanced shooting from an elevated position, it was impossible to pass without suffering huge losses, Italians have then dug a tunnel under the mountain for three months and created a cavity under the Austrian positions, the cavity was filled with more than 30 tons of nitroglycerin and they have literally blown up the mountain killing the enemy.
