For drinking? Cold. But like everything in life there’s always exceptions to every rule. Like for tea? Hot water…. unless it’s ice tea. 
 

For showering or bathing? Warm. But when it was 109! degrees earlier this summer? I would stand in the coldest shower possible. Sitting in my gf’s hot tub?  Hot

I can’t believe you’ve all missed the most critical consideration here!!  You need hot water to make coffee, therefore hot water is superior to all.
