Meh. It's more than good enough with hot meals thankfully but the sandwich struggle is real.

Ciabatta Roll
Chicken Salad - Not the one with fruit
Pepper Jack Cheese
Mayo
Mustard

Pickles
Lettuce
Spinach
Jalapeños
Salt&Pepper

Now this is where it gets great...

You take that bad boy and with everything on you get it grilled on a panini press.

I have been questioned more times than I can count about the heating of Chicken Salad, Mayo, Mustard, Pickles, Lettuce, and Spinach, but the Sandwich is heavenly and It will continue to be a favorite.

Sardine Sandwich

-Decent Sardines (none of this Chicken of the Sea crap---Fresh is best but if canned use Matiz or King Oscar)

-Dark rye bread (preferably rugbrød- scandinavian style rye)

-Spinach leaves

-Onions

-Cucumber slices 

-Pickled red cabbage or sauerkraut

-Dijon Mustard

My grandmother would also sometimes make it with a fried egg included.

I think it's very tasty.   But different streaks for different freaks as I say!

Haven't tried Impossible but have tried Beyond's stuff. Not really seeing sandwich stuff on there, mostly burgers. Which I guess are technically sandwiches but I tend to think of them as their own thing.
