Since we are starting in the Medieval Times, I am going to start everyone roughly equal
POPULATION:
If your country is near the ocean or a lake: 1,500,000 (You get more people, but the risk of disease is higher)
If your country is near a mountain: 750,000 (You have increased disease resistance, but less people)
If your country is near neither: 1,000,000 (You start neutral)
GDP PER CAPITA:
If your country is near the ocean or a lake: 125 Standard Units of Money (SUM) (You have higher access to trade routes)
If your country is near a mountain: 125 SUM (You have higher access to natural resources)
If your country is near neither: 100 SUM (Standard)
Bernard Sandcastle can do the math to get your total GDP with your own currency
