I didn't manage to grab a screenshot of the current state due to the game dropping (I'll edit one in tonight).

 
Aragon reaffirms Glory Greatest Britain's hatred for Catholics. Discarding the long-term alliance that's served the two well during the League Wars. Britain knows Burgundy has a hand in this, and has reaffirmed their hostile stance against them. Meanwhile internal strife has led to civil war, with Cromwell serving a good 3 years before dying of old age.

OOC: Grats everyone on the longest EU4 session with 6 hours.

 
France won some wars with Tuscany in Italy, cementing Tuscany's place as the premier Italian power after Austria hit Genoa, Tuscany and France's mutual ally. France colonized Louisiana and expanded Colombia. France has also been preparing for war with Portugal over Mexico as well as expanding into Piedmontese territories. Ended session with a war on Castille to retake Labourd and restore proper French control to the south. Furthermore, France built up a navy and has built up its infrastructure to lower state maintenance which has led to a economic recovery after 100 years of poverty and difficulty. Some screenshots:

I did notice that the Civil War gives me an adm 22 government. Between Monarchy and Republic and of course I had to choose Monarchy.

 
Glorious session for Ottomans for once. Expanded east, unlocked janissaries. Tied an Eastern bloc alliance with Russia, Georgia.

Ottoman Empire clashed with the most powerful Muslim bloc, Mamluks-Hejjaz-Tunis-Morocco for a total of about 100k soldiers vs 150k. The 30+ year old Padishah with 5 mil died almost immediately as the war began. After being nearly defeated in the war, Tunis, Hejjaz and Morocco dropped out of the war one by one. After a bloody battle ambushed 50k Mamluk troops in Edirne, the battle turned. This resulted in a net gain of two provinces from the Mamluks. Could have pushed and taken their whole coastline if the Eastern rebels didn't decide it was the perfect time to strike.

  7. All hope was lost for our Genoese neighbors, until Austria faced a central german coalition for their aggression, and their allies had to move north to counter. This left Austria's remaining army all alone in central Italy :D . The ensuing battle caused a moral victory for the Genoese forces, as they only had to pay 10% war reparations instead of losing any territories.

With the Defender of the Catholic Faith (Poland) occupied, Austria in the middle of a coalition war, and Venice recovering from their own long and exhausting war, I decided now would be a good time to take on Venice for some valuable land. Additionally, Venice/Tuscany have two fo the larger navies in the game, this war will have a major impact on the future of naval warfare in the Mediterranean for the rest of the game:

I didn't take any screenshots, there was no key events for me. I just converted some people to catholic and take some more 2 provinces and more 2 vassals.

Next sessions is the fight against Burgurdy versus Switzerland, Pomerania, Poland, Hungary, Denmark, vassals, and etc..

The game kept on crashing, we tried a new game and we kept having problems. I don't know if it's the new expansion or the game is just still naturally buggy and crazy. It's a shame especially after that nice six hour run we did last week.
