At a second glance, I realized some may not know the saying. So here it is in full:

as to which “devil” im referring to…. Ive dabbled in many mythologies so you’ll never know 😘 😈 

 
I don't know, there were some very scary mythological beings. Aliens would be interesting, maybe they'd have some wisdom for us.

If we knew things that were in history outright then the world wouldn't be as it is, you're making the next logical step which would be that you KNOW you live in a world where you COULD learn about them and thus "KNOW" them.
