Really loved Conan for a long time. Especially when I was a kid. I even have 61 of the mangas at home. But over the years I've lost interest because the entire series is just so slow. The story progresses so slowly and instead of solving some of the mysteries he's introduced, he only adds even more new characters. The anime has an abundance of filler espisodes that never appear in the manga and it also seems like most cases could be solved faster if Aoyama would skip those parts that are clearly just meant to lengthen the process between a murder occurring and Conan solving it.
Also nice to read something from you here Mari. So far one hasn't heard much of you.

Better than expected because I expected a fast drop, but in the end it's harem with an unsatisfactory ending

Grappler Baki 7.5/10
It's an old anime from 2001, watching this because there's the sequel ongoing
It's street fighter with a bit of JoJo, Baki's dad is the strongest human obsessed with fighting, dad is evil and he wants to beat his dad, a lot of fighting and training, usual things
Some classic 90s bullshit, for example Baki is 13 years old when the story starts and one of the first opponents is the boxing welterweight champ, sure realistic lol, but the MC must be in middle-highschool, it's a non-written rule
Satsuriku no Tenshi 5/10
A girl who wants to die and a serial killer wake up in some structure and they lost their memory, every floor has a guardian, she helps him to get out and he will kill her once they are outside
Starts ok, second part is meh, no ending because was 16 episodes and now finished at 12, I don't know what happened

Hataraku Saibou (5/10)
Educational show about cute cells doing cute things. There are some fun moment, but I personally found it to be quite meh
Satsuriku no Tenshi (dropped) (4/10)
Watched about 3-4 episodes before I dropped it. The concept is interesting at first as i thought it would be something like a show where the main character "defeat/outwit/run away to freedom" while encountering interesting serial killers
but nope all the characters (so far) are edgy for the sake of being edgy and shallow af. The faux Christianity didn't help either

The only reason I started watching this is because I read up somewhere that contrary to what it looks like, the show is not a cute girls doing cute things show. After watching an episode of it, they're definitely right. I think the best way to describe this show is to imagine Nichijou on PCP. Anyway, I really like it.

Can we take a moment to take in the fact that in addition to the JDF hiding dragon as planes, the pilot have to be eaten by the dragon in order to pilot it.
Low key vore aside, I find it a bit boring at first but became more interest in it after the first few episodes.
Apart from sequels (e.g. My Hero Academia) there's not many good shows going on right now so not much to write about. Been reading some manga in the meantime so I might make a short writeup about it sometime soon

Great as usual, Lupin this time meets modern technology, internet, drones, they can find him everywhere
Most of the episodes are connected to the main story but there's a special episode with Lupin in red with the style of the very iconic second series

Back Street Girls: Gokudolls - 5.5/10
3 yakuza failed again and their boss to punish them sends the 3 to Thailand for a year to change sex and train to become idols, now they are 3 cute girls in an idol group making money for the boss but inside they still are 3 yazuka
Sounds like a great plot for comedy and the style has something of Prison School but failed to deliver at least in part, could have been better
Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro - 7.5/10
On her way to school (or coming back to school) Chio and her best friend Mana have crazy adventures starting from the normal everyday life
I don't know why was so underrated this season

Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season 9/10
One of the best anime of this generation, it's the only one I always watch just after the download no matter what
Yama no Susume: Third Season 4.5/10
They need to balance the slice of life with the adventure, now is 95% SoL and after 3 seasons it gets booring
Steins;Gate 0 7/10
The biggest problem is that this is just another route so it sounds like rewatching the original
Yami Shibai 6 4/10
Sorry but after 6 seasons all the good stories are gone

The story of the first japanese island invaded by the mongol horde, some things are accurate, then there are the samurai going berserk NIPPON STRONGGGGGG, but it's a good one and I'm not big fan of historical anime

Lupin wa Ima mo Moete Iru ka? 6/10
Very coo idea having Lupin go back in time to the first episode for the 50th anniversary of the series but it's a great idea for a movie, not for a 25 min special, too rushed

Jojo Part 5: Golden Wind (6.5/10)
And now for the fifth part of Jojo we have 100% authentic Italian, definitely not Japanese Jojo trying to join the Gang-star (yes, you read that right) to overthrow the mafia boss. Series is still ongoing and compared to previous parts, there's not much going on so far but things might change as the series progress
Golden Kamuy 2nd Season (9/10)
2nd season is back and is still great. Time to wait for the third season

Other than that, the anime is essentially a harem show. Killing goblins is pretty fun to watch but that's pretty much it

Godzilla 3: Hoshi wo Kuu Mono 5\10
Weak ending for this trilogy, Ghidorah is not cool as expected, too few Godzilla scenes, too many scenes with the humans talking

Another enjoyable season, I really like how they ignore victories and concentrate on the life of the sport guys

The action is good but he's really a terrible MC who can't say more than two words

Pedogirls is a new genre, we have at least one every season, but I don't care since they keep it comedy based and the show is an ok slice of life a bit ruined by a bit of drama at the end that really doesn't fit with the rest

Good as the first season, I really like the style and how they go from brutal action to comfy moments and it doesn't feel

Must watch for every Kaiji fan, you can see what the ba guys did during the story but in a comedy style

Can i not edit my post? Anyways after looking through some of this thread, I noticed that you basically use the animes japanese name and my list is mostly anime with their english names with an exception of a few so im not sure how many of these you seen already.

I thought a lot of stuff i watched was good, but atleast a decent amount was considered average. Looks like we have different taste in anime but tonight i will be giving the saga of tanya the evil a go then check out grimgar: ashes and illusions then give goblin slayer a go. Also waiting for fall/winter to watch gods blessing on this wonderful world.

Haven't watch Grimgar before so can't comment on it but Tanya the evil is not too bad, and God blessing on this wonerful world (im assuming you mean Konosuba) is a very good comedy show. imo, Goblin Slayer is a show where people either like or don't like it, been hearing that the anime somewhat butchered the LN/manga
