We believe God still talks to prophets today. One of the things we've been told is that coffee and tea (called "hot drinks" when the revelation was received) shouldn't be drunk. We dont have too many details of the why, but its part of the covenants we make when we're baptized.
I was always told it had to do with the presence of caffeine. Is that not the case?>< yes it is. Not that its a big deal for me. I didn't like coffee or tea before I was baptized anyway.

Its not. They actually put out a statement saying its not because of caffeine. Ive known bishops (pastors) that drink a ton of mountain dew.I was always told it had to do with the presence of caffeine. Is that not the case?
