~snip~

Okay so about that: This is a bit misleading. Zodiac years start with Chinese New Year and end with the next Chinese New Year. Hence 2020 is only the year of the rat starting from January 25th 2020.

That is important in my case because according to that circle thing I'm a dog (1994). But I'm actually a rooster because I was born in 1994 before Chinese New Year (20th January).

Also fun fact. There is a superstition in East Asian folkore that women born in the year of the fire horse have a very strong and exhausting personality and therefore have issue finding marriage partners. That is why in 1966, the last time we had the year of the fire horse (next time is 2026), birth rates in Japan went down by over 25% because people didn't want a girl born in the year of the fire horse.
