Alternative is not to heat up the water. Cold shave is a pain however.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. The poll asked which people preferred - bath/shower/other/none. I was asking if you preferred bowl shower/shaves to regular ones. I had to do bucket showers (assuming bowl showers to be more or less the same?) for the better part of two years and it was manageable but wouldn't exactly say I preferred them.

I just think showers are quicker and I don’t have much time to take a bath. I miss bath but when I get the chance I take it.

Rain is always fun. And rivers, though rivers are a little cold. I used to bath at a well at one point in my life. In more rural parts, it's common to have a bucket of water mixed with boiling hot water, because heated showers are expensive.

Funny that the verb for cleaning yourself in English is either "shower" or "bath".
