Never. I am the eldest sibling. Feels kinda awkward if I am celebrated, maybe other eldest siblings will get what I mean.

I thought eldest siblings got celebrated the most.

I get a cake, always. A slice at least. For myself. Alone sometimes. Or maybe like a cheese cake ice cream. It kinda cuts down on cake consumption throughout the year, or so I convince myself.

Well, to be honest, I don't let them celebrate me. I'm not a cake person, I would rather like something handmade and some good food.

Or that's what they want me to think, and I am the sorriest person alive :/

I make my own cake these days, but mainly for the kids because they get crazy excited no matter whose birthday it is and are always up for some.

In my family, we generally do more of a family-dinner-out-but-the-birthday-person-picks-the-restaurant sort of deal. We do cakes every now and again, it was more common when I was growing up than now really, but the dinner thing is our tradition usually.
