What set of movies is the best Star Wars movies?

I put "add on movies" even though I've only seen one of them but Rogue One was a very good movie.

I don't tend to be a purist for the sake of being a purist, but the original trilogy is still the best imo. Rogue 1 is the best of any of the movies produced after Return of the Jedi.

Star Wars doesn't suck. The new trilogy isn't all that great though.

I'm so sad that i am just now seeing this, Original Trilogy all the way bro, and Star Wars doe's not suck, although the newest trilogy may give that impression. Objectively speaking there are movies that are better in a technical sense, but in a lot of case's they don't produce a love, wonder, and the overall spirit that the Star Wars Films bring out in their fans, rivaled by the likes of Marvel, DC and Anime in general.

Edit: Also IMO, Clone Wars TV show is a must watch though, it really flesh's out the PT showing the time between Episode II and III, and it gives the clones actual personalities.
