My position is akin to Pascal’s Wager.
I’m no expert, though am happy to do without and make other changes if it contributes to reducing the purported human impact. A concern is that the standard of living in the western world has never been better, and with great waste, so that morally I think that an effort should be made by those who can. I do not think the expectation held by the militant greenies that instant global change should occur, because it would result in an undue strain on those least able to support it.
Having said that, I am yet to be convinced that human effects on climate change are significant, or that anything we do is likely to make a difference.
