more like "oh no, my house got destroyed by a freak hurricane" and "oh no, the sea is in my backyard" tbh
I don't see how 2 degrees of warmth will lead to the sea reaching your backyard, unless your house is on the beach. It's not my place, but I recommend you to buy a house a bit closer inland so you are no longer living on the beach.

Plus this is supposed to happen slowly over decades. Even if you believe the worst of whats supposed to happen, definitely preferable over aliens or super volcanos

I chose to live through a zombie apocalypse but it would have to depend on the zombie. If it walking dead zombies sure thing pretty easy to kill. On the other hand if you have world war z zombies that can climb a huge ass wall and also climb buildings, then might as well build a bunker, stock up on food and hide. But hey and you never know. Someone could set of nuclear bombs during the outbreak so it would be a win win. Survive both of them.
