The two doors in my room lead to the bathroom and to the hallway. So.. no.

Used to sleep with it closed but have a cat now and the litterbox is in the bathroom. Plus she's just got too much freaking energy that if I didn't have the door open and the hall to let her run around in at night, I'd never get any sleep. I have a hallway curtain sort of deal going on now though and I close that when going to bed so I guess that's my new "door".

Also adding to my reply: When I was still living at home, I would sleep with the door open until I was 10 or 11 I think because that kind of made me feel safer. Afterwards I closed it.

Bathroom door can be open, although light tends to slip in the window there, so I try to close it when I'm sleeping in.

Not when it's closed up like that, that's why it's "kitty jail".
