I'm biased and this poll will have no influence on my correct formatting of the date. 

Months before days is incorrect!

Day month year is the correct format. Year month date is an acceptable format for filing systems and other record keeping.

I use MM-DD-YYYY for places such as here when I know most people are American but my phone says DD-MM-YYYY.

Any time I have to use the shortform, I do MM/DD/YY but generally I write out the month so there's not much confusion and usually do Day Month Year for that

Alright hear me out. I completely agree with Blackie here. The best way to do it is YYYY-MM-DD going in order from least specific to most, so it's automatically a filing system.

I grew up with the idea of MM DD YYYY, so the others are quite backwrds from this method.

Didn't realise i'd done it this time

I keep putting 2020 then changing it to 2021 ,guess its just seared into my mind to put 2020 from the repetition of doing daily polls for 9 months last year.
