My favorite is (I've been reading a lot of books lately and looking to branch out genres) My favorite is fantasy, just because I like the mixture of magic and medieval warfare and prophecies and etc., and because the Inheritance cycle was the first major book series I've ever read [plus SLA is great].

I believe Historical fiction must be my favourite genre though i do enjoy reading fantasy , my favourite author is Bernard Cornwell and Historical fiction is his thing i struggle to put down any of his books once i start reading them.

I've also enjoyed reading Sci Fi and i've read alot of Historical nonfiction.

I've heavily invested my time and energy (along with money) into fantasy books. At first, I started out in elementary school with basics like 39 clues or Percy Jackson. Then we have dystopian like Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, or Divergent. Then YA with the Scythe Series, Campion Series, Skyward, and Renegades Series. Then we have Sci-fi/fantasy which is Ender's Game, The Martian, and Ready Player One. I've also read stuff with portal-fantasy like Beyonders, Fablehaven, and Five Kingdoms. I've also read more from Riordan, the Hobbit, Harry Potter, more by Earnest Cline, The Giver, stuff by Brandon Sanderson, and just started The Promise of Blood. Now, I'm reading stuff like the Promise of Blood, Elantris, The Stormlight Archive, Mistborn, The Name of the Wind, and more. I also have on hold, until I get through the other TBR list, The First Law Trilogy, The Gentleman Bastards, The Wheel of Time, and others. The other stuff I read for school was The Book Thief and Chains, which is historical fiction more than fantasy.

I'm just a big fan of fantasy.

My favourite so far is the Saxon Stories/Warrior Chronicles/Last Kingdom series.

I bought the first book in the series (the Last Kingdom) years ago along with 1356 from the Grail quest series , I wasn't to bothered with reading the Last Kingdom but thought i may aswell buy it cause it was 2 for a £1. 😂

When i got around to reading it i loved it , i hadn't even finished and i knew i wanted to read the rest of the series.

I've struggled over the years trying to convince others to read it who i know would love it , and now they'm all trying to get me to watch the tv series , which i can't because that man looks nothing like how i pictured Uhtred! 😠

I've seen his books about , i'll definitely give him a read sometime thanks Modi 👍

Historical fiction is my choice.

Definately Bernard Cornwall and Simon Scarrow are great authors.

Also worth reading is the Emperor and Conqueror series by Conn Iggulden, Aubrey Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian (my personal favourite), 'The Virtues of War' by Steven Pressfield (not read any of his other stuff but I mean to), and the Hornblower series by C S Forester.

I read so much nonfiction that I get made fun of. Good writing is hard to beat, and I learn so much!

Really hard to pick one.

Currently I'm into fantasy. I went through detectives/criminal books phase. Then through romance phase. Some others that I can't think of right now too.
