I only reuse plastic bags because the government forces me to.

I have a reusable shopping bag collection. But when I read that due to the plastic bag manufacturing process that a reusable bag would need to be used upwards of 1000 times, I almost lost my mind.

I’m sorry to say it but I use disposable plastic bags. However, we have a cabinet and reuse them quite a few times and don’t just throw them out.

We used to use disposable plastic but now we use a mixture of disposable (mainly for meat/dairy) and reusable for everything else.

I think paper bags are probably the best.  Not so sure about the reusable ones, however that is what we use.

I do still use disposable plastic bags but we save them and use them as trash bags or for other purposes generally after. Still a work in progress and do occasionally use reusable bags but I'm trying to get into get into a better habit and plan to buy my own bags/store them in my car for when I go out.
