I’m looking at around $16k a day from blinking. Will take 3-4 years to reach $20m on blinking alone, but good enough for me.

And probably more when they get a dollar every time 

So I'll take the dollar per blink, please!

According to Healthline, the average person blinks between 14,400 and 19,200 times a day.

Using 15,000 blinks per day, you come out ahead with blinking after 3.65 years.  Of course this does not factor in the money made by investing 20 million, but I will gamble that I live long enough to cover the difference.  Also, I'd be just fine with $15,000 per day. . .
