Well for me I like Calculus ,Probability and Numbers Theory pretty much
But if you ask me to choose one I will probably go for Calculus  :)

Split between Number Theory, Probability Theory, Calculus, and trig. Selected Number Theory because I'm doing an ISP on it.

No statistics? Statistics wins browser games :P

I don't see why so many people like calculus as it's probably the least used one. Trig and geometry is nice if you deal with real world spaces like houses. Probability is used in almost everything.

At least algebra. Algebra is really useful.

Calculus is the least used one??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am personally a stat student and after some basic stuffs like central tendencies , dispersion and such Stat is nothing without Calculus.
Like when we do interpolation to predict values without calculus it is impossible
Also for prob in a bit higher level calculus is needed (continuous random variable)

So the fact is calculus is used in all the places

for like classical probability is just a bit of extention of combi for me
But the probability which is used now is nothing without calculus

Also if you ask me which is the least used one I will say that for real life number theory is not vastly used but for maths it is the main base of maths

I tolerate math, but how do you guys actually enjoy it?  Some math is actually used in real life situations, but here is math that cannot even be applied in real life, and only can be proven on paper......

The more advanced of an analysis of something you want to do, the more math you need.

My favourite would be geometry/trig and then probability. I used to like calculus in high school but after my 3rd university calculus course it was getting too abstract.

What kind of sick masochistic whackos actually like maths?
*raises hand*

Abstract is fun, although sometimes it just goes too far. Last night I started working through a 5th Dimensional figure on one of my question sets I do for fun, things stopped making sense around the third time I took a gradient.

I'm in pre-calc right now, and its' pretty easy so far.  I really like Algebra because it was easy to understand, as well as apply.

I love Geometry so much more than any topics in mathematics because it involves shapes and straight lines and so other things

that to me is visible rather than theoritcal . From this, it also makes me love the art and architecture designs ...
