Ain’t heard of any of these films. Born in the wrong generation I suppose. I don’t understand why any of them can’t  be made today.

Its gotta be soul man 😆 I can only imagine how that'd go down now.

I could picture them re-making Weird Science like they did with Ghostbusters and do a female recast where they make the perfect man. (If someone reads this, then thinks its a good idea and has the capability to make it , please don't 😉)

Let me give you a quick rundown of the issues they would run into today:

Airplane - a disaster comedy set on an airplane in post 9/11 ...<out of control airplane is no longer comedy post 9/11>

Big Trouble in Little China -  Not PC and may offend the largest consumer market for movies which is China....  <some Asian stereotypes>

Blazing Saddles  - Pushes boundaries in racial satire ....<racist language & stereotypes>

Falling Down - A middle aged white guy snaps then goes on a rampage thru the city to go see his wife & daughter tho she has restraining order against him.  <toxic masculinity blah blah>

Soul Man - A white kid trying to get into Harvard takes pill that makes his skin dark so he can get in on a scholarship meant for African-Americans ...<blackface>

Wierd Science - Yeah 2 nerds make the perfect woman on the computer ....<SJW trigger alert>

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking they would do the gender swap thing but with bad lazy writing then call anyone who didn't like it a misogynist.
