So other than Politics and War, one of my hobbies is visiting themeparks. It's suprising how much there is to know and like I can basically name the ride in any photo of a non ghetto chinese knockoff ride so if you want to send a photo to this thread, i'll see if I can name it! If you have been to a themepark recently, say which and what your favourite rides are, i'd love to see what you think and if you have funny stories or whatever, be sure to share them!

Here's my favourite rollercoaster, Taron at Phantasialand near Cologne, Germany.

It has two launches and no inversions (loops) and is manufactured by the Swiss company, Intamin. It's themed very well into an area called Klugheim, i'm not really sure what that means but it looks beautiful and the ride itself is very thrilling! Come back next week for more :D  (or don't)

No pics to share but Dreamworld in Thailand is the only themepark I've been to when i was a kid. Never been on any rollercoaster since back when I was little, I was scared of it af. Most memorable thing about it is that they have a very neat indoor 'snow town' which is quite something considering even to this day, I never experience real snow before

interesting, it doesn't look very good but it has some kinda cool rides that you don't see every day :D

and near this awesome like river mouth/lakey/dent in the coastline kind of thing. It goes upside down three times and is around 180ft tall, making it the highest wooden coaster in Europe which is pretty sweet

we don't have many in the uk (theres not one in the whole of London for some reason), but when I go abroad i love to visit them! waterslides are super cool :D its more exciting as its less in control i think
