I don't mind the update, but i really can't be bothered to change improvements again ;_;

 
I see the reason for it to an extent. But I'm stilled pissed. Even after I lowered production and got rid of my disease and pollution, I'm $200k in the hole compared to yesterday. Jerk.

Everyone butthurt about being nerfed and it's like ... yeah, that's the point.  The old system made it to where you could have full commerce, full MFG, still produce some raws, AND have standing military, all at 2000 infra.

Now you can't go full MFG without hitting into commerce, forcing you to hurt your revenue in cash to get into MFG.  You'll need to max out civic things (except crime), which will decrease standing militaries or money/mfg production.  There is a much heavier incentive to go above 2000 infra now as well.  MFG projects are now worth more.

You're forced to make decisions on how you want to be built.  It's a lot more expensive as a whale to get back to my old spot.

 
Sucks but does well in the long run :P  Keeps one more involved rather than just building up and buying whatever lol. Sorta evens out gameplay for mid tiers in the long run :P

I literally suggested to Sheepy to never nerf anything. Just add more resources and features which phase out any inflation. Basically Kittens style design.

And what does he do? He nerfs everything and pisses everyone off. I know a lot of people who ragequit over this and a few more who will later.

He could have done the same thing - rewarded specialization by adding new mechanics to the game. Retooling a mmo's mechanics is always messy.

 
It's just like the radiation update all over again. You know, the whole of Orbis is having this nice, fun war. Everything is going normally them BAM, majot update regarding radiation from nukes in the middle of the bloody war without any warning
