I make the best potato mash. My family demands it every year.
5lb sack of potatoes, peeled, quartered, and boiled in salt water until easily mashed with a fork.
In a pot, melt 1 stick of butter (I use herb butter) and 3-4 containers of Boursin cheese (flavor of your choice).
Drain potatoes, mix with cheese and butter, whip until desired consistency.
Salt and pepper to taste
Serve.
I got my highest praise this year. Luka, my three year old nephew, INHALED them. He's a persnickety picky child who tells me he doesn't like bread while he's halfway through a biscuit, but one bite in and he was sold and demanding seconds before his siblings even received their plates.
