How "big" would the mountain option be compared to small one? Did a 5 hours hike once across some tropical foresty mountain in Chaing Mai (northern part of Thailand). Other than that, it just hills and small mountian
Not sure how you were catergorizing the difference of mountains vs small mountains (some height levels by them would've been nice ;_; )
Anyway besides that think i've only done small mountains in my case.. least what i figure are 'small' - a few in the US over the years, and I did a dozen or so small mountain hikes during my time in Japan last year. Hiking is just fun as hell. Would love to hit up some real mountains later in life! Not Everest though, too cold.
Guadalupe Peek, the highest point in Texas, and Wheeler Peek, the highest point in New Mexico. Both involved about a 3000 foot change in elevation and 8-9 hour hike. And I hiked down a 4000 foot peek in Austria (took a gondola up.)
Other than that a few smaller mountains/hills here and there. I really want to hike some more, maybe do some peaks in Colorodo.
I've been mostly thru smaller ones, but I went to one more major one before was I think it was Mt Konahuanui in Hawaii, not sure it counts as large Mountains though since no definition.
