PC cause you can pirate the games. ;)
Sounds like stealing to me.
I don't believe in intellectual property laws.
“May Allaah curse the thief who steals an egg and has his hand cut off, or steals a rope and has his hand cut off.”

“The hand (of the thief) should be cut off for (the theft of) a quarter of a Dinar or more.”

“Do you intercede concerning one of the Hadd set by Allaah? Those who came before you were destroyed because if a rich man among them stole, they would let him off, but if a lowly person stole, they would carry out the punishment on him. By Allaah, if Faatimah Bint (daughter of) Muhammad were to steal, I would cut off her hand.”

Theft is Hudud.  You'd think a good Muslim would know that.
You should remember to cite your sources, what you quoted was not the Quran but hadith, and nobody is disputing the punishment for theft in an Islamic State.

What were talking about is whether or not taking what's regarded as "someone's intellectual property" for personal use (not distribution) is theft and the onus (burden of proof) is on you to provide evidence that this is indeed the case according to the Sharia.
Theft is theft.  The vast majority of Islamic writings that lay down crime and punishment are older than the concept of intellectual property.  The concept is the same - you have gained access to a paid-for service that you did not pay for, which makes it theft.

Now which hand would you like cut off?
  1. You've failed to prove that it's theft according to the Sharia.
  2. You can not apply the hadd punishment for theft in Dar Al-Kufr (land of disbelief) where there are no Sharia courts and the Sharia is not being implemented.

Considering the changes in modern world (radio, music, cars, internet, flying etc) you should ask Allah for Quaran 2.0.

Same goes for Christians.

You've failed to prove that it isn't theft.  It's considered a crime and is considered theft of intellectual property in the modern world, and therefore is common sense considered theft.  You cannot use the loophole of "Islam was too barbaric and backwards to consider intellectual property theft a crime".

If someone makes something, it belongs to them.

If you take something that belongs to someone and they don't approve of it, it's theft.

If they go all "k bro i'm not losing money on this whatever", then it's not theft.
