It depends when. It will grow but not necessarily right then.

Pinocchio's nose grows when he lies.  

This means:

1) the statement would have to be a lie for this to apply.  Him simply being mistaken wouldn't do.

2) nothing says his nose wouldn't grow in other circumstances aside from his lying.  So maybe him saying "my nose will grow" will also result in a grown nose
