If Russia invades, do you think NATO will intervene?

Pootin is a dick!  But I understand that Russia believes the Ukraine is their sovereign territory regardless of their independence after the USSR tanked.  That I believe is the veneer thin excuse for saying they won't be invading i.e. how does one invade their own country right?  Anyway, doing a military exercise with over 100k troops is bs when you're skint, and Russia is skint af.  But don't forget the other hand (China) while the Russians are dazzling us with their murderous antics.  They've been sorting out all sorts of energy and telecommunication deals that have barely made the news (God forbid we interrupt the Covid or Prince Andrew feed). 

Enjoy the world radiants hahaha  Our own countries are full of dicks too, most of 'em are elected 🤪

Basically, Russia wants Ukraine to not be a member of NATO, and probably annex/absorb/put them in their sphere of influence as well.

They claim most Ukranians want to be part of Russia, but that's coming from the Russian government.

NATO says how about no to all of that.

I doubt there will be an invasion that will reach Kiev. The areas that are already controlled by russian militias may be completely taken over and russian rule strengthened there. I don't think NATO will do anything in that case.

If there will be an invasion of Kiev then possibly NATO may do something

 
Regardless of whether or not they do invade can the USA and UK stop saying a war is imminent and will happen in a matter of days, just for no invasion to happen. It's been weeks of this. Almost as if they want a war or something.

What, and take away the media’s hyper-inflammatory over-simplified and narrow coverage of the whole thing???  These people have jobs you know, and we need to grow the economy! You must be one of these anti-establishment pseudo left wingers hahaha.
 

Seriously though an invasion on this scale takes a long time to organise.  Here’s hoping they all change their minds, turn around and go back home soon ❤️

In hindsight, a very stupid comment. I remember thinking there was no way they'd actually invade but I guess I was too much of an optimist.

Not stupid at all, and your desire to have the media shut up about some stuff is shared by many including myself.  I think it is right to be sceptical about the crap you read, see and hear from all sides of the spectrum!
