I don’t think most people think much about it right now. I also think most people are starting to think about it and it will become a bigger deal in the future than it is now.

I can have all the “Privacy” settings set on my iPhone. But there somehow still things popping up on my “For You” places that I’ve never remotely looked at on my phone…but coincendentaly had a conversation about that same day. 
 

yes, it’s a problem when privacy is a ideal.

Yes. Obviously. They gather your data and sell them to advertisers.
