I can be easily woken up by someone saying my name.  I can also sleep right through thunderstorms

I set multiple alarms at 5 minute intervals because a single alarm is definitely not enough to wake me up.

dependant really slept through a mortar attack in afghan, now the floorboard creaks and i am awake let alone my alerter going off haha

Before I had a kid, I used to be deep sleeper but now not so much. 
Although I do sleep through the storm or disaster.

I still sleep deeply, but not as much as when I was younger.  I used to sleep through the storm sirens across the road from my house.  My wife had to yell to wake me up to take cover. . .

I sleep with two Border Collies that bark at anything and everything. So I adapt.
