Went to an electric car fire the other day that was a job town!

normal car fire average call time is around an hour and a half from mobilised to home station inc clean down

battery car fire call time 6+ hours plus a revisit to relieve the second crew.

the idea is great but need more infrastructure for dealing with it when it goes wrong

Honestly, Biofuels made from corn suck since they're really inefficient, but Sugarcane apparently is energy positive.
From the cars perspective, biofuels would be the most weight to distance, no? Idk.
On another note. If we do cut down on the meat that we eat, there will be a lot of plant product that isn’t eatable for us and wouldn’t be getting eaten by animals anymore. Also algae can be turned into biofuel, and at the same time clean up dirty water and produce an eatable power thing that I image tastes gross

I mean the Algae Biofuels have a long way to go before making them is efficient enough to compete with Hydrogen and Batteries.
