Do you think Piracy is ethical?

Interesting question. As someone who does pirate content semi-regularly, it made me grapple. I realize it is not ethical I just also choose not to care.

When people decided it wasn’t worth $20-$30 to go to a movie theater and the solution became charging $20 to watch a movie at home I stopped questioning the consumers’ ethics.

@Miller actually hit on it exactly. What kind of piracy? Are we just talking media, or are we broadening the scope to the actual definition of the word? And, to expand on that, *where* are you (as in the person answering the question)... these are factors.

You might consider it not worth it, but that doesn’t make it ethical. We have no right to their work
