So uhh... Needed a quick filler poll for today, since I forgot. So... How long do you think this pandemic will last?

People are stupid and you can't trust them to be smart so this is here to stay though it may become less violent.

I think the virus is here to stay in some form.  Rich "developed" countries may be able to stay on top of it and have yearly updated vaccinations for the various mutations.  Disadvantaged countries may remain....disadvantaged.  Which, of course, helps breed more mutations.  We are all interconnected.  Stay tuned....

This pandemic is already almost lasting 1.5+ years so not sure how anyone thinks it could be less.

Less than 6 months in the Western world. Much much longer elsewhere.

The virus is unlikely to simply die off, but  it will be contained by September for most European countries. The rest of the world will take longer unfortunately, I hope the alleviation of the first world countries translates to increased vaccinations on the rest (or even better, let's start increasing vaccinations now).
