Fahrenheit is better than Celsius when talking about the weather and inches are superior to cm/mm and you can't change my mind on that.

Otherwise, metric is pretty much better.

Metric is outright better in all aspects, it just makes sense while imperial is painfully confusing (I'm American for those who don't know btw).

American logic:

12 inches to a foot, 3 feet to a yard, 1760 yards to a mile: perfectly logical.

1000 millimetres in a metre, 1000 metres in a kilometre: wayyyy too complicated.

Metric crew fo' lyf

Yes, conversions are far simpler in metric (and we do learn and use it in school and science) but for everyday life,, we grew up with imperial and we "speak" imperial. We know about how far a meter is because it's close in distance to a yard but the rest, we don't have much of a frame of reference for.

Also, for temperature, you'll never convince me Celsius is better. It's not the same as the rest of metric, is essentially just as arbitrary as Fahrenheit but with less precision, and at least with Fahrenheit, hot temperatures actually sound hot and vice versa. "B-b-but 0 and 100 are based on water" is not a valid argument.
