Of Electric Jet Engines

Do you think Electric Jet Engines will ever be practical?

Aren't all jet engines electric? I mean. It runs on some form of electricity.

Maybe. Probably not with lithium ion batteries. Liquid fuels have the weight saving features of getting used up during flight and taking part of the reactants from the air. We may end up relying on synthetic fuels made using electricity from ground-based powerplants as an energy storage medium.
