Etat Well-known member Jun 7, 2022 #4 I put cloves into the Christmas ham before I bake it. Also a fairly critical ingredient in a spice mix I use when making a curry. I believe if you put a heap of cloves into an apple then leave it out, any flies buzzing around will choose to leave!
