Do Bots Make Alliances More Incompetent?

Yes bots are good it takes a lot running an alliance and a bot will help do some of that but it’s not foolproof.

now the second question if a bot is used diligently and well then no but an over reliance on bots and not knowing your members will make an alliance look incompetent

Bots are a way to easily acquire information.  If the information is analyzed by a human who can account for variables and assess the reasons behind variations then all is good in my mind.  If there is blind reliance on numbers then it can be bad, but that is the human's error, not the bot's.

I think bots in any game are actually good. In this game is makes people not have to do busy work and just takes out the unfun stuff. In other games like MMOs i think bots actually can help the economy of the games, they grind out stuff that other players normally wouldnt do and makes that market cheaper. The issue becomes when bots start doing everything or taking over things that people enjoy doing. For example if we had bots that declared for everyone at a blitz that would be bad.

Good and no.  However I’ve something of a nebulous idea that it is contingent on the user of the tool to understand what they’re about (not necessarily the code itself).  Something akin to treating the patient, not the numbers for all you clinicians out there.
