It's not good for the people in rich countries who are below average skill, but good for everyone else.

terrible. We take a look at what is happening around the globe, can you really say that increasing ties with this is a good idea? And take a look at the USSR; a great example of globalization on the extreme scale. It fell apart with huge civil rights issues. Can we say that is good? Good may be subjective, but we are better than the "bad" as we define in other parts of the world; therefore we are good, and must preserve that.
