A mix of strategy and simulation like CKIII, Civ, etc. I probably like the simulation aspect a bit better though which is why I went with that.

No all of the above?  I know it says favorite but it really depends on my mood.  I picked grand strategy (like civ, hoi, eu etc) because I probably play that more often but some games are a blend.  Like what is cities skylines?  Isn't that part sim part strategy?  Also, sometimes I just wanna play shoot em ups and get the adrenaline going.

I am not sure why RPG is not up there, since it is clearly the best of all games, and it is very different from straight up roleplay, but I chose Roleplay anyway, since it is the closest.
