Czech Republic in chaos

Following a coup by a previously unknown insurgent faction of the Czech military the HRE has moved military forces into the Republic to help the puppet... erm new legitimate  government establish security to the populace...

HRE, erm I mean the Czech Republic announces a national referendum to be held to formally authorize joining the HRE... HRE promises a free and fair election under its supervision

US fully supports this idea of HRE.

Results from the national referendum are in and voters approve joining the HRE overwhelming..

Pro: 98.73%

Opposed: 1.27%

With these results the HRE formally announces the annexation of the Czech Republic and considers it sovereign territory.

Whilst the P.I.S. doubts the legitimacy of the referendum - we have all seen the images - we will not interfere in European affairs, and support any power in Europe that is not the EF.
